I'm a Homeowner!

It's been a crazy 4 days! I saw a townhouse on Sunday afternoon in a very providential way. I was actually in the area to check out a DIFFERENT property. I loved it from the get-go. Went back with a wise friend to make an offer that night. Prayed about it. Got rejected Monday morning, and offered to the chance to make a higher offer. Refused the chance. Got more advice. Prayed hard. Called back that evening to make a higher offer. Prayed some more. Got accepted. Signed the offer to purchase on Tuesday night. Prayed even more. Made a deposit on Wednesday afternoon. Et voila! On June 15, if all goes according to plan (and after the last 4 days I'm confident that God is working it out) I will be the owner of a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom townhouse condo that is as old as I am but is in lovely condition in a good neighbourhood. And I'm still praying! What an awesome opportunity for ministry!

I'm back...again...

So this week was our 2nd soccer game, and I felt so much better than last week! The first 10 minutes last week just about did me in! This week I got into the zone nearly right away. Hurray!

Playing in a recreational league is much less stressful than my competitive soccer experience from a couple of years ago. More laughter. More jokes. More smiles. Less anxiety. MORE FUN!

So the plan is to start running again, now that my legs are better. Soccer is doing my feet in for about 48 hours after a game, but other than that, I've been ok. No ITB problems. No knee pain.

And I can feel my muscles returning. Now THAT ALONE is great. :)

More later. Must get some work done tonight. And part of that includes figuring out how to add a calendar to a blog. Need to start keeping track of young adult ideas in our city's church groups.
